Prescription Consent & Disclaimer

By uploading a prescription, booking a tele-consultation, or placing an order for prescription (Rx) items on Pinoymeds, you acknowledge and agree to the consents and disclaimers below. If you disagree, please do not submit health information or proceed with Rx orders.

Your confirmations

• You are 18+, placing an order for personal use only, not for resale or distribution.
  
• All details you share with Pinoymeds (identity, medical information, prescriptions, permits, and delivery details) are accurate and complete.
  
• You understand Pinoymeds is not a substitute for in-person medical care and does not guarantee any clinical outcome.
  

Consent to process prescription & health data

To fulfil your request (Prescription validation, dispensing, tele-consults, permits, shipping), you consent to Pinoymeds processing the following:

• Prescription files (images/PDF), diagnosis notes written on the Rx, prescriber details (name, license number, country).
  
• Health details you provide for tele-consult triage.
  
• Information needed for permit guidance (e.g., PUC/IC-1) where you ask us to assist.
  

We use this data only to provide services you request (order fulfilment, compliance, safety checks, pharmacovigilance) and to meet legal obligations. 

You may withdraw consent at any time by emailing us, but doing so may prevent us from completing current or future orders that rely on this information.

Tele-consultation informed consent

• Tele-consults are provided by independent, licensed physicians (typically India-licensed). Pinoymeds coordinates the appointment but does not practice medicine.
  
• Tele-health risks include possible video/audio failure, limited physical examination, and rare privacy incidents despite safeguards.
  
• The physician may decline to prescribe or may prescribe alternatives based on clinical judgment.
  
• Tele-consults are not for emergencies; call local emergency services if needed.
  

Prescription submission & verification

By uploading or using a prescription on Pinoymeds, you confirm that:

• The Rx belongs to you (the patient named) and is authentic, unaltered, and current.
  
• You authorize Pinoymeds to verify the prescription or prescriber (e.g., via PRC LERIS for PH, NMC register for India) and, if needed, to contact the prescriber or the issuing clinic/hospital.
  
• If your Rx is in a language other than English, you accept responsibility for the accuracy of any translation you provide.
  
• You understand Rx strength/quantity must match the prescription and applicable personal-use limits.
  

Substitution preferences

• Therapeutic/brand substitution may be required when the exact brand/strength is unavailable. Pinoymeds will seek your consent before substituting a therapeutically equivalent product (same molecule/strength/pharmacopoeial standards where applicable).
  
• You may select “No Substitutions” at checkout; this may delay or prevent fulfilment if the requested brand is unavailable.
  

Controlled medicines disclaimer

• Pinoymeds does not ship controlled/dangerous drugs by courier/post.
  
• Where lawful, such medicines typically require DDB-PDEA Import Clearance (IC-1) and must be hand-carried by the traveler.
  
• If your cart contains a controlled item, we will block courier checkout and guide you to the compliant pathway. Approval is not guaranteed.
  

Permits, customs & Importer of Record

• You are the Importer of Record. You are responsible for permits (e.g., PUC for non-controlled Rx by courier/post), duties, taxes, brokerage, storage, and retrieval.
  
• Pinoymeds can assist administratively (checklists, templates) at your request, but government approvals and timelines are outside our control.
  
• If goods are seized, destroyed, or returned due to missing/denied permits, unpaid duties, incorrect delivery info, or other regulatory reasons, refunds may be limited per our policies.
  

Product information & safe use

• Always read the label, package insert, and your doctor’s instructions before use.
  
• Report adverse events or product quality issues to Pinoymeds promptly; we’ll escalate to manufacturers/regulators as required.
  
• Store products as labeled (e.g., cold-chain where applicable). Improper storage can void remedies.
  

Communications consent

You agree that Pinoymeds may contact you about orders, prescriptions, permits, delivery, refills, and safety notices via email, WhatsApp, Messenger, Viber, and phone. You can opt out of non-transactional marketing at any time (transactional/service messages will continue while your order is active).

Data sharing & transfers

To provide the services you request, you authorize Pinoymeds to share only what’s necessary with:

• Independent physicians (tele-consults/e-Rx),
  
• Regulators/permit portals (when you ask us to assist),
  
• Payment processors (payments/fraud prevention),
  
• Couriers/logistics (delivery & customs),
  
• IT/support providers (secure hosting, ticketing, chat).
  

Your data may be transferred internationally (e.g., India ↔ Philippines) under contractual and technical safeguards. See our Privacy Policy for details and your rights.

Record retention & access

• We retain prescription and order records for the period legally required or as operationally necessary to support refills, safety, and audits.
  
• You may request access, correction, or deletion where permitted by law (subject to retention obligations).
  

No guarantees & liability note

• Pinoymeds cannot guarantee permit approvals, shipping timelines, or clinical outcomes.
  
• Tele-consult prescriptions are issued at the physician’s independent discretion.
  
• Our Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, and Shipping/Returns policies also apply.
  

Your consent (what you agree to)

By checking the boxes at upload/checkout, you confirm that you:

• Consent to Pinoymeds processing your prescription/health data to provide the services you request.
  
• Consent to tele-consultation (if you book one), understanding its nature, risks, limits, and that a prescription may not be issued.
  
• Authorize Pinoymeds to verify prescriptions/prescribers and to share necessary information with doctors, regulators, payment providers, and couriers for compliance and fulfillment.
  
• Acknowledge that Pinoymeds does not courier controlled medicines and may require IC-1 and hand-carry where lawful.
  
• Accept your role as Importer of Record, responsible for permits, duties, and taxes.
  
• Confirm that the information you provide is accurate, and you will use all products as directed by a licensed healthcare professional.
